Azpi is finished and senseless now, that's why he didn't know that he should have been a little closer to Grealish, because the KDB he was worried about could only shoot with his left foot from an awkward position. The same KDB received the pass and layed it beautifully for Grealish who squared before Azpi could close down. Remove agenda from your eyes and see that if Azpi was few inches closer before that pass, he would have blocked that cross.

KDB banged one with his left foot against us from that area before, and has the ability to shift his body and hit that with his right foot with minimal pullback of his leg. Azpi was encouraging him to pass to Grealish rather than shoot, and then maybe Azpi can close the cross. Infact Azpi would have intercepted any cross into the danger area, and the only place Grealish could place that cross is the keepers vicinity which the keeper should claim. Instead the Spanish dwarf withdrew his hand after practically falling on the ball.
