No rules. Eat your hearts out, peeps!
To take part in the competition, you need to publish your trading account to FX Blue Live. Winners may be required to give the competition organiser a read-only password for their trading account in order to verify the results.

The organiser has set the following rules for the competition:

Competitors must use the following trading software to publish their results to FX Blue Live: MT4 or MT5. MT4 competitors must publish their results to FX Blue Live using account sync or the FX Blue Publisher EA, not MT4's built-in FTP publishing.
The competition is open to demo accounts only (not live accounts).
All accounts must be in USD.
Competitors are not allowed to have open positions when the competition starts. The first time your results are published to FX Blue Live after the competition starts, there must be no open positions.
Performance is measured from the first equity figure published by your trading software after the competition starts to the last equity figure published before the competition ends.
Any deposits during the competition are treated as though they happened at the start of the competition. Your performance will be affected if you make deposits towards the end of a competition.
Competitors must publish from the same broker account throughout the competition.
The competition is scheduled to run from Sun, 1 Jan 2023 17:00 GMT to Fri, 13 Jan 2023 22:00 GMT. However, the organiser may start or stop the competition early or late at their discretion.
MT4 users must publish their results using the FX Blue Publisher EA or account sync. You cannot use MT4's built-in FTP publishing.
All inquiries, disputes, appeals, questions, petitions, and problems will be evaluated by the competition organiser and final decisions will be considered binding and satisfactory.
From the above there is no Daily Drawdown in this competition. trade as you like, just reading this. SAmfelly hope that is correct.

No. DD rule? Just seeing this.

We should have included rules that will help us pass the prop stages 1 and 2 also. Except the prize reward is cash. Is it samfelly?

Anyways am sticking to defined risk of 0.5-1%/trade

Trading is hard because of some of these reasons

it takes less time to lose money, it takes alot of time to make that same money,

having a 1:2 RR is cool, but having a lot of 1:1 or 1:1.5 trades which goes back to hit your stoploss consecutive times is much more painful...

if you decide to put SL at Breakeven every 1:1. that home run trade would always knock you out at that Breakeven and pump to the moon...

holding onto winning trades can make you big profits yesterday,,, holding onto winning trades can make you constant losses today

a pullback may just be a continuation pattern, a trend change starts from a pullback ...

the price action patterns can be similar,, but the outcomes are always different...

with these few points of mine, Trading is a game of chance.. the only way you can win is to play it exactly how you would play the game of Roulette

I guess the organisers will ask for all contestants link to manually check for the winners then since fxblue doesn't disqualify.

Good luck everyone.

Do they increase your daily target profit daily as you grow

For those that's confused with mff and ftmo d.d rules....

In mff your d.d increases as you go in profit and decreases in loss.....

Example if you start today with 10k balance.
Your d.d will be 5% of 10k which is 500$.

Let's assume you made a profit of 200$ and you start the next day with 10200$.

Your d.d will be 5% of 10200 with is 510....

Same applies if you lose.
Let's assume you loss 200$ and start the day with 9800$ your d.d will be 5% of 9800 which is 490$......

Now d.d Is calculated based on equity or balance which ever one is higher.....

Let's assume at the end of the day you have a running trade which is still in profit 200$. Since you've not closed the trade your balance is 10k dollars....

It is assumed you closed the day with 10200 even tho it's running trade so your d.d will be 510$....

That means if your trade goes back to entry the next day. That means you've lost 2% from your d.d and you're left with 3% of the 10k balance......

Same applies which in loss...

Let's assume your balance is 10k and you end the day with running trades thats in loss of -200%,.

Your d.d for the next day will calculated based on the the balance since it's the higher than equity....

That means you have only have 3% loss for the next day since you're already in 2% loss.....

I think this model is to help curtail over trading.......

But ftmo is fixed at 5% of the 10k given....

If you close the day with 2% profit 10200 the next day your d.d will be only 500% ....

That means you can Loss your 200% profit and extra 300$...

Same applies if you lost your d.d will still be 500 dollars.....

If your trades is running trade....
At the end of the day... Your d.d is calculated from your closing balance not your running trade.....

I don tire to type
