I'm not a writer, but I'm an author with some books in Amazon.
How is this possible, simple Ai writing softwares, books I have there are not even written by me, meaning millions of books sold in Amazon or other kdp site by Nigerian are plagiarised.
How about bloggers, they are not left out of this crime.
You can become an author without starting a book and finishing it.

The introduction of softwares like
Quiibot
Grammarly
And the recent one I discovered, is so threatening that I begin to sympathetise on those who are talented in writing.

The Ai suggest a catching topic and write from beginning to conclusions

Yet this guys will go online and generate sales more than the ones that are skilled in this field

Writers is this not a threat to your career?

Attached photos is article written by Ai

Real treat. I no longer get those small small article writing jobs again.

@Ugaboy, please can you take me on paid training and mentorship on KDP? I'm really interested.

No threats at all. AI is not perfect and can never replace humans.

AI can never replace writers. For me, I see it as a good tool. AI contents are not well research and are often flagged by Google due to inaccuracy. Hit me if you want to learn how to spot AI generated contents within seconds.

Can AI replace writers?

ChatGPT:

There has been a lot of discussion about the potential for AI to replace writers and other creative professionals. While AI has the potential to automate some tasks, it is unlikely to fully replace writers or other creative professionals.

Writing is a complex task that requires not only the ability to generate text, but also the ability to understand and convey meaning, emotions, and ideas in a way that resonates with readers. This requires a level of creativity and human insight that is difficult for AI to replicate.

Moreover, writing is often a deeply personal and expressive activity that is closely tied to the identity and values of the writer. It is unlikely that AI will be able to fully capture the unique perspective and voice of a human writer.

That being said, AI can be a useful tool for writers and other creative professionals, and it has the potential to automate some tasks and free up time for more creative work. However, it is unlikely to fully replace the human element of writing.

The greener the text, the more the likelyhood it was generated by an AI. Check the images below:

Before now, sophisticated AI exists although they are all not publicly known and are paid. example is qbot and some whatsapp chatbots. I believe there will always be need for writers and AI will only generate first drafts.

ChatGPT is making lazy Nairalanders more lazy. Who swear for una?

AI is about perfection. Writing is not all that. Soon people will search for badly worded books because they surely are the products of amateur writers. AI can replicate those, but it will mean devolving a well trained AI to 10% of its capabilities — a failure in technological advancement.
