Not true, I am from Oron, H.E Arc. Victor Attah never built any Stadium in Oron. The so called Stadium or should I say the football pitch was there since the days of Old Cross River State built by Oron LGC &never heard Gov. Udom is expanding or rebuilding it like the one in Eket. I have visited Oron Town recently & nothing has changed in the very old Oron Stadium.

One of Udom electioneering promises in 2015 was creating Sustainable sport Facilities in 10 Federal Constituencies of the State but he is yet to get fully implement that. I know it's one of those talks to seek elective office.

The pictures is that of a mini Sport facility@Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron &it was strictly FG project, you can see the iconic Blue Roofs of that school in that pix &not Oron Township Stadium, until the Oron Township Stadium is remodelled just like that of Eket, before I believe you, otherwise nothing has been done in Oron as regards Standard Stadium.

Its a nice idea, at least our State's female football club can use that as their home ground/turf. i do not have issues with that, but As they're facelifting the Uyo Township Stadium, they should also reconstruct Ndiya street by the Akpan Andem market close to the Stadium, take away the refuse dump behind the Stadium due to the market closeby, the stench from the refuse dump from that Ndiya street by the Stadium is unbearable. Relocate those petty traders from the entrance & outside the vicinity of the Township Stadium to promote asthestics, while Discovery Park by the stadium should maintain its Status as a Relaxation centre.
