Good Evening Everyone,

I have been reading through the thread right from November and finally reached today's own.

Here are my questions.

1. I came across a particular post about most engineers living in ph and others in bonny Island, is it that engineers are adviced to stay ph and others in bonny?

2. Is living in bonny based on luck or is for people with higher ranks like Manager's directors e.t.c.

3. How long does this graduate training program lasts?

4. After the Graduate training program would someone automatically get a permanent position or you have to start another process?.

5. I have heard rumors that private sector job's are very stressful , Lack of freedom and they will drain you of energy. How true is this? If yes does it apply to Nlng?

6. How are accomodations in rivers state? As graduate trainee and what is the best place to stay whether you studied Civil, petroleum Engineering e.t.c and other departments.

4. Yes, its supposed to be automatic employment
5. Depends on how you define stress, but you'd definitely work for your pay...lol
6. Revert to number 1..and yea..accommodation is okay in rivers..

2. Bonny is predominantly for engineers. A handful of business grads also get Bonny depending on their job role.

3. I think it's 3, maybe 5 years.

4. You are an NLNG direct hire as soon as you are confirmed after 4 months.

5. No idea. But if you have a health condition, best to let the company know when the time is due (during medical).

6. Most staff in PH live in the secure gated Estates in PH. Bonny staff live in the NLNG Residential Area (RA)

Hi bro, what medical condition could disqualify one during medicals? Can things like height, myopia, k leg etc disqualify one?
Are we directly in competition with those that study same professional course or all applicants as a whole ,e.g Civil Engineers against civil, mechanical engineers against mechanical engineers in this test phase

NLNG has an estate in Bonny that accommodates all their staff that work there. So, your accommodation is taken care of.

This is an entry level employment, so expect NLNG to mould you into what they want you to be doing for them. You might not even do any civil engineering thing there until you retire.
