I'm not sure Puss in Boots would be able to defeat pure titans sha...at least from what I'm watching in the movie

Titan skin is super hard and his sword can't penetrate...plus he needs to cut out the entire nape...
However pure titans don't attack animals

For Titan shifters....Puss in Boots doesn't stand a chance at all imo...

I honestly didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did especially since I'm not a fan of kids animation. But I did enjoy it a lot

They also did well in making the main antagonist so terrifying to Puss in Boots.
The themes of family and friendship were also well done although kinda predictable since I could already tell where they were going with it

For some weird reason I expected some kind of plot twist with the cute dog but then that would have contradicted everything the story established especially with the map tying to his personality. So I'm glad they didn't go with that twist

Only thing I didn't like was the ending
The resolution felt highly underwhelming. I sort of expected more. I get the point was him getting over his fears and also cherishing what he had...but I still expected more from the final battle.

The villain walking away like that with some lame forced explanation felt very weak, and seemed liked an attempt to just keep him alive as a reoccurring villain

Anyway quite a very very enjoyable movie as you said @ Ishilove

It still felt weird the way he left him. He came for someone who thought he was immortal.
The problem is that from their first encounter, Puss in Boots realized his fatality and as such didn't feel that way anymore

I don't buy that shït that CBMs are facing a fatigue with audiences. At least one or two CBMs would have easily hit $1bn last year. 2022 was just a year where other mega franchises turned up and the sleeper hit of Maverick.
I mean 4 CBMs were in the top 10 and all grossed high $750m+. They'd consolidate in 2023 and noise about fatigue would quiet down. I've been hearing of Superhero fatigue since 2015/16, yet here we are.

What people are trying to pass off as fatigue is simply the novelty of the superhero genre finally fading away as it's now settled firmly into the mainstream. 5 years or more ago, Black Adam, in all its averageness, would have made $700m upwards. Currently the audience expects more than average fanfare from the superhero genre and as long as that is delivered, they'll keep patronizing.
