As the forthcoming presidential election inches closer, President Muhammadu Buhari has warned foreign nations to stay clear of meddling in Nigeria’s election.

Buhari issued this warning on Thursday while receiving Letters of Credence from Ambassadors of Sweden, Switzerland, the Republic of Ireland, the Kingdom of Thailand, the Republic of Senegal and the Republic of South Sudan in Abuja.

According to a statement by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Buhari urged ambassadors to be guided by diplomatic practice and go about their duties professionally.

As Nigerians prepare to elect another government at the general elections on 25th February 2023, President Buhari renewed his call to foreign government representatives not to meddle in Nigeria’s internal affairs”, he stated.

Anytime all this political analyst, politicians, Nigeria human right and other political concern groups especially political parties travel to foreign countries for political validations or start issuing statements calling on the US, UK and other foreign nations to ban other politicians. I just laugh.

Infact the Embassy of US and UK must be laughing at our stupidity anytime they receive some of those letters. We act like slaves, like non-democratic country. While Africa countries like Mali, Ethiopia, SouthAfrica are trying to reduce the foreign influence in their country. We here are d!ckriding them like silly slaves. Any small thing they are running to foreign Countries for 'our own' political matters. Bunch of slaves.

Please dont tell them to stay away. Let them interfere, let them start infiltrating our security intelligence structure. Let them start installing their puppets in Aso rocks like Ukraine, Taiwan, japan, korea, germany and others.. Let them start causing confusion and chaos like in venezuela, syria, libya, afghanistan, iran, and others.
