Against City, Auba made a lot of runs where Havertz pinged back passes he should have made and that summarized both his and Chelsea situation. At Barca it was not the case.

If the only creative players in your team are full backs while having creative midfielders like Mount and Havertz are on the pitch while those full backs are missing half of the season, then it’s clear where the problem is and Auba is not the problem

The crux of the matter here is, regardless of the progression path Potter decides to take, joining Chelsea in its current incarnation was the wrong move.

Potter is actually a good coach. I don't think its his tactical competency that is the problem here but tactics are just one of the many areas you need to excel in to become a top manager.

Nobody is really passing up a Chelsea job regardless of the circumstances and jobs in football is not as linear as you’re projecting.

Nuno of Wolves took the Tottenham job at the right time after doing a great job at Wolves and even took them to Europe but where is he now?

Thing is if you’re taking over any big club in the middle of the season, you’re walking into a big mess. Potter’s situation is different though cause of the off field circumstances. He’s good though but he is also to be blamed. Drop players not performing. Might as well start playing less experienced players who have hunger and desire to perform and then rebuild at the end of the season
