BREAKING: Bandits Burn Catholic Priest To Death In Niger by James91: 12:44pm On Jan 15, 2023
Bandits in an attack on Kafin Koro Community in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State in the early hours of Sunday have burnt a Reverend Father, Isaac Achi of Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church, to death.

The bandits were said to have invaded the community at about 1 am and began shooting sporadically while heading to the uphill residence of the Rev. Father.

According to a resident of the community who identified himself as Paul, the bandits divided themselves into two while some went to the Catholic priest’s official residence, the others stayed in the town shooting to wade away any form of interference.

Paul stated that when the bandits couldn’t assess the late Achi’s residence after a long while, they set the building ablaze and waited until it burnt to ashes with him in it.

The Divisional Police Officer was said to have been reached but couldn’t get to Achi until he died. https://punchng.com/breaking-bandits-burn-catholic-priest-to-death-in-niger/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1673777684

APC has failed both God and man, I see no reason or any responsible person to renew failure. APC party should be apologizing to Nigerians not campaigning.

No, one way to rest in peace is for people like you to be a victim so you can see what you support

If this happened in southeast, foolish gazelle gagaragas will start mentioning Peter Obi's name and why he should control the army, police to stop the killings. But since it is not in southeast, the Agbado citizens are happy with the news.

The Divisional Police Officer was said to have been reached but couldn’t get to Achi until he died.

They had enough time to perpetrate the crime and got away without a fight and some people are accusing Christians of intolerance, this is an Islamic Jihad enabled an sponsored by the government and yet some people want a Muslim president to take over from a Muslim president with all these persecutions.

The question is have Muslims been fair to the Christians under a Muslim presidency in the past 7 years?

look at the people that put us into this problem, the vice president was perfect to become APC party presidential candidate but they used propaganda to stop him from winning,

Coincidentally I visited one of my relatives who happens to reside at a stone throw from where the unfortunate incident happened and all I can say is this story here is not entirely true.

The men came in their vehicles and sped past at around 1am past our house cos we reside close to the road. I wasn't asleep then and I thought it's just normal town resident driving. Shortly after that I heard something that sounded like gunshots and assumed it was just mere knockouts but I wasn't convinced with the sounds I heard.

About some 2hr later my relative's spouse received a call informing him of the terrible incident and death of the Father. All I can say is this is just a clear case of assassination and not related to banditry at all. Bandits usually always come in ransacking the town killing randomly but the men came, and personally targeted the Father leaving every other thing untouched. His cars, boys quarters etc remained untouched. but his colleague was shot in the hand tho. He was lucky enough to escape.

This country is a fcking joke! So what happened to all the security we normally hear is being beefed up all over the country when your president holds meetings with all the service chiefs and they come out saying ‘they’re on top of the situation’!? A car was speeding around town by 1am in the morning and they weren’t trailed and accosted by all the forces we’re told have been put in place!? Probably all the security forces that could have been redeployed to the north are in the south-east harassing innocent civilians and laying entire villages to waste!

See how dead the thread is! All those sanctimonious, Igbo hating bastards that wait for any news of insecurity in the south-east so they can fall in and to be first in line to blame Mazi Kanu, IPOB/ESN, Peter Obi and the entire Igbo race for (imported and engineered) insecurity in the region….they’re nowhere to be found in this thread! They’re not here to blame Atiku, APC, Buhari and Tinubu! Does this mean they value the lives of the Igbo over others in ‘one Nigeria’!?
