What the husband said happened has happened to me severally . When they stop me and gesture for me to park to the side , there is always one police idiot that stays in front of the car to prevent perceived possible escape ( how that stops a criminal from running him over beats me ). To park atimes require care , making sure there is no car beside and whoever they already parked on the road shoulder is not trying to leave . That period you spend looking around , most of them become overzealous sometimes “cocking” their guns and waving it recklessly . That can lead to accidental discharge.

In summary his gun , his responsibility. He is guilty . The case is just to decide if he will be given death sentence or life imprisonment .
