And that is why they won't market him.
He should do well and penetrate the Nigerian market because the promoters and presenters will deal with him in their own way

Most of you Nigerians speak as if your country has dominated the entertainment scene since ever. We all know that Nigeria currently dominates the music and movie industries, no one has disputed that but it's also a fact that Ghana and South Africa have also had their reign before so enjoy your reign now for you cannot tell what will happen in the next decade
Lol, Nigeria has had a robust movie industry since independence.

Nigeria entertainment reign is not going anywhere, we have the market at home, we have the largest diaspora market to spread our voice abroad.

BLA BLA BLA DE GASH

You can't trash your country for the sake of uplifting a single brand. A strategy that struggles to work notwithstanding all the mudslinging is the epitome of sheer desperation. Best music sells itself. Marketing trash is futile. In this case; if he trashed Ghana, Ghana will give him attention, not his music. Good music doesn't need all the shenanigans to trend.

If he trashes Kenya, he will face the wrath of KOT. He will be killed career-wise and his songs will be trashed into the basket of oblivion. At the end of the day; he will only achieve selling a bad reputation.

That's your side but in the West Side of Africa bad news sells so fast. Any insults or gaslighting against Ghanaians attracts Nigerians and vice versa. People do anything for attention

Oh kord, we need the raps time back. Where real talent exist . Not this afropop time that anybody can just seat anywhere and sing anything so far instrument is available to enhance the sound and tunes..

Lyrical joe .....making Ghana proud.

I don’t subscribe to this thought of downgrading our own homegrown genre and elevating a foreign genre.

Rap is a foreign genre, no matter how talented African Rapper are, they can never surpass the American.

Capacity matters. 60k is massive. If we fix the seats to the brim, it will triple Tamale capacity. But even at its 3/4 filled, it means it has doubled the capacity of Ghana's biggest.
sure 60k is massive but not kasarani seatless stadium.
Fix that stadium first before you compare to any stadium below 60K.

I will choose Nyayo Stadium over Kasarani anyday anytime

You don't have to bring South Africa into your mess. SA are not loud-mouthed in this matter, yet they also dominate the music industry.

Ghana is way below Nigeria's music industry. Ghana comes way below Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa in entertainment sector.

You are tripping bruh grin

I have to mention SA because their reign ended not too long ago. Just some few years back they were the head quarters of entertainment. Musicians and movie producers from West Africa had to travel to SA just to promote their works

Everything originated from Ghana including Nollywood, Afro pop, Rap.. grin

Nollywood made their star.

But because of jealousy, they had to regress, now they are nowhere to be found in Africa Movie industry,

It’s sickening. There’s no need to talk down on your neighbor success.

Pushing others down will not Automatically lift you up.

Spewing so much ignorance with arrogance.

You are right but before that Ghana was also the Hollywood for Nigerian actors in the 80's and 90's.

There are so many Ghanaian movies that featured Nigerian actors. The likes of Patience Ozorkor, Peter Edochie et al were coming to act in Ghana just as it's happening for Ghanaian actors in nollywood

Let your old citizens tell you your history

Some Nigerian out of ignorance think entertainment started in 2000's so you base all your arguements on what you've seen in recent past. Ask your old musicians and Actors how Ghana entertainment industry was like in the 70's, 80's and even the 90's. We've had our reign before so put some respect on our name

when was your first movie produced by a Ghanian?

Both in production and shooting, Nigeria had it before Ghana,
Before Independence, immediately after Independence, we started producing on a more regular bases and in the 90s we began producing even more until we surpassed Hollywood in number of movies produced annually just behind Bollywood.
Today it's a different story with Netflix recognizing Nollywood as a dominant force in African movie industry.
Kenya started early too.

Trying to lay claim to every successful venture is a terrible trait built in every Ghanian.

No we have never talked down on any Thing related to Ghana, for me it's a feminine character,
But the music thing was nauseating, and the lies are trending in Ghana. More like after trying for years to compete, instead of accepteing Nigerian music is ahead of GH you found another way round it which is to play down the talent.

My problem with some of you is you dont want to know anything apart from what you already know and that's wrong

Just find out from your old artists, they know the truth and they can tell you the truth. Ghana has had it's reign in music and movies before, Nigeria is enjoying it's reign now so learn to accord us our respect and we will also accord you your respect.

We Ghanaiàns don't like it when you Nigerians twist facts.

I got to know many Nigerian actors through Ghanaian movies. Your veteran movie actors were coming here in their numbers. It's only this few years (in 2000's) where Ghanaians started shooting movies in Nigeria

Listen to one of your veteran actors in this video below.

That was when they had issues with Nollywood and how much they were being paid. They requested a salary increase and the producers said No.. so their own way of protesting was tell top actors to stop accepting roles, and that actually made the producers to hunt for more local talents and Today the rest is history,

I'm sure if I bring in Literature you'd still find a away round it.

Abeg I don tire to dey talk.

Take the year of return as an example,
Within the period your country started it, you needed to see how much bad stuff concerning
Nigeria your media houses kept churning out.

Or you think it was a mere coincidence that your ministry of foreign affairs, just few weeks to your 2022 year of return issued a travel warning to Ghanians living in Nigeria and of all places to mention it was Abuja it went all over the net.
Why would they do that if it wasn't to make Nigeria look bad, so the black Americans would be afraid to come here.
The Minister should have been sent back to Ghana, but for our weak Govt.

Did you listen to what the man said in the video? The man was categorical in his statement so listen to what he said again

It's obvious you are not ready to know the truth and that's very typical of a Nigerian

Growing up I thought this man was a Ghanaian because he was always playing the fetiest priest roles in our movies.

If Nigerians want to know the truth you should gather all your veteran artists and actors and asked them about Who taught who in music and movies
Even that I know some of you will still not accept the truth because I have watched a video where one of your old music promoters said Nigeria learnt music from Ghana
Guess what? the comment section is now an insult battlefield grin

wow sometimes you Nigerians can be infantile and self absorbed.

So a country cannot issue a travel notice to it citizens? Kid it had nothing to do with you and Ghana does not have control on where Americans spend their holidays.
If anything at all, this whole year of return Campaign of Ghana has been beneficial to all of West Africa.

It will blow your mind when you learn that it was fake.... Next time don't believe everything you see in circulation on the internet grin
