It has a very human face. Give us 1 week notice and you are free to go. Thats how it works in the western world too. I know someone who has 2 months notice before they can leave. Its for the benefit of everyone. You are thinking only for yourself and thats fine. I know some people with 2 months notice and they abide by it. Its called a contractural agreement. Its clear you are not mature enough to be a man/woman of your word, and that has repercussions in life. Grow up, do right, work hard, I promise you it will pay off. If not in the company, it will in something else you are doing.

I think you and Unlimitk should go start a company together. You both have the same ideals. Both still on nairaland looking at jobs. Maybe you can make something great together.

And I am sure he said that because he caught you sleeping during work hours, considering you did not work the full hours on 2 days you were here. And what you don't understand is the labour law. But the real problem to be honest, is that you all have not really done well at any job, because I know every employer wants to keep their good employees in this country. I know plenty of employers who have built homes for staff. Hope you all get there one day.

That's wickedness, to trek in bush for 35minutes is strolling? even if you bought a bike later,why will you use such term and who do you think you want to confuse?

With only the above I feel the op might be a bit right, seems someone is trying to sugar coat sufferings.
