APC supporters have been everywhere rejoicing on how the entire Labour Structure in Jigawa has collapsed to APC.

But one wonders why they are rejoicing for harvesting a structure they have always claimed does not exist.

But away from that, I want to remind Nigerians of the quantum defections to APC before the Anambra gubernatorial elections where even the sitting deputy governor and serving senators defected to the party.

While these defections were going on, those of us who are aware of Anambra politics, tried making APC supporters understand that those defections will not guarantee victory for APC but they brushed us aside. What happened at last? Election Day came and APC came third with all the “structures” they bought.

Now, as the 2023 elections approach, the party has embarked on same wild goose chase by thinking that harvesting the structures of rival political parties will give them victory. But I make due to state that all these defections will not matter because in the end, the people will vote who they want to vote.

Jigawa for instance might fall to Sule Lamido’s son who is the PDP candidate. I do not support the boy becoming governor after his father ruled the state, but it seems Jigawa people would rather have him than vote APC. I’m sure the realization of this reality is the reason the APC in the state has started buying defectors as if that will save them from defeat.

So, in conclusion, defections will not get APC victory; and the earlier her supporters learnt this, the closer they are to not getting hurt after the elections.

You clap when you see defections from APC to PDP. But it does not matter when they defect to APC.

LP was never going to win every state, It however also been established that they do not have senators or house of rep candidates in all states, so, what's the fuss?
Besides, those that defected were not going to vote for LP after all, in the same vain, there are many APC member that will end up voting for LP on the election day. Yes, due to vindictive nature of BAT, many politicians would rather pretend to support him in the open and vote for candidate like obi at the poll because they all know that Obi is not vindictive and ever ready to work with anybody that has something to offer.
