A good room and parlour self contained in Shapati /Molete area goes for around 450k. He can move down towards Abule pan axis for cheaper ones. Meanwhile, where in Lekki is the place of work?

I will Advice he chooses Nasarawa
*Food are relatively cheap
*Closer to Abuja
*There is no security challenge
*You can quietly and quickly plan your Life(building your house)
*Transport fare is relatively cheap
*Thou,the social life is kinda boring

He should stay put in Nasarawa, I live in Abuja but I go to mararaba in Nassarawa State to buy food items monthly, 10 tubbers of big yam goes for 6-10k
Beans and other food items relatively very cheap comparing to lagos, plus a comfortable 2 bedroom flat in Nassarawa with all the facilities intact could go for 350k while in lagos they go begin call million for you, choose wisely

Better still, he could as well get in Akodo.

Kindly stay in Lafia not Lagos since it's up for consideration.
With that pay you are a rich man in Lafia reasons are as follows
1. Food is cheap in Nassarawa unlike Lagos
2. With 50k out of that cash, your utility bills are likely covered and you can save as much as 40% at the end of the day.
3. You don't face traffic in Nassarawa and you get home on time unlike Lagos depending on where you would reside
4. I have lived in both states and I can categorically tell you the life expectancy in Nassarawa is 75 yrs while Lagos is 55yrs
5. House rent is relatively cheap in Keffi unlike a self contain in Lekki is about 500k without damages, agent, commission and agreement

Meanwhile in Lagos,
1. Transportation can gulp 50k off the pay monthly, even if you stay in Ajah or Sangotedo
2. Accommodation can gulp a big chunk even when the house is not a match compared to what you will get outside Lagos with equivalent sum or less.
3. Plus the population is increasing with Imota rice mill, Dangote refinery and Lekki deep seaport in the Lekki express way, the madness of traffic will increase and I am sure you haven't experienced Lagos traffic (ask those that were on the island today that President Buhari visited how the traffic was today - most of them are probably reading this and will be up and running tomorrow morning by 5:00am on third mainland bridge for those on the mainland
Finally, you already don't know how frustrating Lagos traffic can be plus your life expectancy will be reduced
If you stay in Lag for 50 years, you would have spent 15 years in traffic. Lol

very well put. If you find yourself enjoying NAS, stay there. Cost of living is relatively cheaper.

I know that area. There’s no job that’s paying that kind of money around that area.

I can't work in Lagos for less than 500k salary. It is suffering in the end. He should stay in Nasarawa and enjoy peace of mind. Anytime he wishes to get city vibes he should enter vehicle 500 naira and enter Abuja to vibe.

Lagos , the fastest growing city , if you want to see progress in your career come to Lagos else you dey play . The only problem is accommodation, 3 months salary can get a decent apartment . I see people choosing Nasarawa because life is cheaper but they will take the next flight to UK or USA if they get opportunity, Lazy youths.
