300k in lekki is better than 120k in lafia.

Lafia the capital of nassarawa state is a village, there are no opportunities in that land.

When i was in that dead city, i louged in a hotel in the Gra( where the state government offices are, you will call that place an upscale neighborhood,believe me not, that place was disappointing.

It is true that food are cheap but what is the chance of getting another opportunity and what is the chances of being paid regularly in a city where most people are poor.

I was in Nasarawa last months for 2weeks on an assignment and everything you said is true. I lived in Lagos for years too n I can tell you life is Nasarawa is easy. The environment is calm and d people are highly cultured and friendly. U can get a standard nice 1 bedroom with light, security, water etc for 150k. U can only enjoy this if you have a good job there.

N300,000 per month in Lagos is more than enough to make you okay.

I leave almost all my life in Lagos before moving to out.....i will take 150k job in Nasarawa-Keffi , over 300k job in Lagos..

Your deductions about Keffi are not really correct. Keffi can safely be categorized as a suburb other than a city which gives fewer opportunities for upward career mobility. Rent is on the rise due to overflows from Abuja looking for comparatively cheaper rent which leads to a spike in traffic especially if the OP decides to get a job in Abuja environs. Nyanya will teach him a good lesson but like you said food is relatively cheaper.

Lagos on the other hand is a land of opportunities 'if' you survive; a skill every Nigerian is beginning to master these days. Insecurity is in fair amounts on either end: Transit robberies in lagos, herdsmen attack in keffi. Pick your poison. You can survive on a low salary in Lagos (Millions of people do) and a monthly income of #300k definitely gives more leverage for handling personal finances.

I'd rather squat in a hostel and earn 300k than live in a 3 bedroom with #120k. A lion in the jungle or a dog in the city. It everyone's choice.

If the job in Lagos is secure and it comes with accommodation, you can go there.

Even 20 years, I currently spend between 70-100k on transportation in Lagos. Self contain apt in lekki is from a million now. Unless the job is coming with accomondation, please stay nasarawa and enjoy your little change.
