In my little experience at party protocols,, that guy that was spraying money was too close to the invited artiste, no matter who he is.

The security of the artiste had been breached.
And he did right by defending himself, since the organisers allowed local celebrities to violate his personal space..

Meanwhile, are there no bodyguards on-stage with Iyanya??
Didn't they stop the guy from afar??
And allow him to throw his money from afar?

But then,, the rot (and the decay) in the system made such scenarios possible.

YEESSS...!!
Everybody (and anybody) now thinks that everything (and anything) is possible with money, and that their excesses should be condoned and endured and accepted as normal-levels, so far say “MONEY IS GOING TO BE MADE FROM IT“.
That's very very bad for the system we found ourselves in, and it will take much effort (and a very long time) for such a mentality to be corrected.

Spraying the naira in parties is prohibited. There is a law outlawing the practice. It's just not implemented.
