Hajiya Naja’atu Mohammed, a former Director of Civil Society Organisations of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has been urged to go for an urgent medical examination over her recent outbursts against Asiwaj Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the party.

Making the calls in a statement issued on Tuesday, Prince Kassim Afegbua, a former Commissioner for Information in Edo State said he is ready to pay for Naja’atu’s medical expenses.

Describing Naja’atu as an ethnicist who is pandering to the sentiments of her stomach, Afegbua, a staunch loyalist of Tinubu said by declaring support for the presidential ambition of the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate, Atiku Abubakar after a Northerner is completing 8 years in 2023, her actions and utterances have proved to the whole world that she doesn’t believe in the unity of Nigeria.

Speaking further, Afegbua said no matter the conspiracy between Naja’atu, Atiku and others, Tinubu will win the 2023 presidential election convincingly and will unite the country through his people-oriented policies.

He said “So, what Najaatu should be talking about now, is the place of Nigeria in the comity of nations and how we can collectively build a nation that will sustain unity in our diversity, and how we can launch new generational thinking that will lead us in the paths of growth and development. Not the extension of Northern leadership against the run of play. Undermining these will be catastrophic for our country which is now clearly fragile and delicate”.

“She may not like the face of Asiwaju Tinubu, but she cannot take away Asiwaju Tinubu’s inalienable right to vote and be voted for. Najaatu can shout to the rooftop trying to make people hear her deafening noise, but she cannot alter what is right. God has shown favour to Nigeria in the aspiration of Asiwaju Tinubu. Tinubu’s victory is assured, and will be loud enough across the six geopolitical zones of the country”.

“Come February 2023, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be President-Elect of Nigeria, and he will be sworn in as President in May. Najaatu is not anything near any of the Governors in the North who have since become heroes for seeing sense in zoning the presidency to the South, and are working assiduously for Tinubu’s victory”.

“Her clamour for power retention in the North after The APC Governors have spoken smacks of her political insensitivity. In case Najaatu desires to heed my call for her medical check-up by a reputable physician, I am ready to pay for it. It takes a man who is well to know one who is not well. She seriously needs urgent medical examination”.
