rvp2018:
300 sites times 300k usd is just 90M. That is spare change for Telcom company. They can be able to re-sell internet cheaply for say 30usd per month for just a million subscribers - that is 30M dollars. They will recoup their investment in 3 months.

600USD for Starlink will never scale. Unless crafty Nigerians buy repeaters and re-sell their bandwidth...but 60-100MB speed will degrade quickly.

So Starlink like other satellite before remain only practical in remote rural areas.

Countries must continue to invest in fiber. Kenya unlike west african zoo already has a million household/homes connected to fiber....and now we are putting 100,00kms of fiber. Telcom companies like Glo should invest in fiber...

Poor Ghana has 50,000 fiber connection/fixed broadband.
StarLink would revolutionise Nigeria's digital space. believe it or not it's very afforable and i will most certainly be getting one.

Likewise the biggest oil producer and the biggest tea producer....

Well, Ghanaians view IMF deal as a bad thing and I'm surprised it doesn't look bad to kenyans
Tea is not a natural gift. You have to buy seedlings, cultivate land and produce it.

Gold is like natural forest or basically an ocean or sea - that gives people free timber, shelter, water, and whatnot.

You found yourself with a free most valuable product on the planet and yet you're grappling with debts, smh!

Check where SA is, FI.

Nigeria like almost every other country only received COVID support from IMF in 2020. Is that thesame with being under an IMF program?
3.4 billion dollars as COVID support? grin grin
You went for this program because your country was spending almost 100% of it revenue on debt servicing and that was a challenge

Is Nigeria under an IMF program now? IMF programs normally take years to expire where IMF dictates terms and conditions. You are confusing a loan with a program.

I guess Kenya invented tea 🤣😂🤣

Natural gifts are everything that existed in nature for human use.

Free valuable product that cost almost the same amount to produce....

SA is where it is because it set itself up as a manufacturing zone for companies for all of Africa

Lmao, Nigeria used the SDR option, because is was a low hanging fruit. There was just $3.35bn sitting in the IMF ready to go anytime we wanted it.

Stop bickering.

There is invention, innovation, productivity, and sustainability in agriculture. Mining has only invention and pretty much sustainability.
I didn't say that to imply we invented tea.

Again, there is human/man made forest & natural forest, Same goes to lakes. It doesn't dispute the fact that all the forests and lakes are by nature natural. Don't be a dunce.

Now, the bolded is where you lost it:
You obtained a free Multi trillion valuable product with a paltry millions in production cost and a token of slave trade. That means if Ghana was mineral devoid like Kenya, it would be more or less like Niger or Togo, now you're slightly above them because brits &Chinese are helping you knowing very well you have what they don't - FREE GIFT!

Omo you really got a tough skin....How will you continue conversation with someone who just labelled tea to be a natural resources just to save face? You are better off trolling that idiot that trying to have a sensible adult conversation with him 😂😂. We waiting for him to tell us Cocoa, oil palm, avocado are also be natural resources. We learn every day.

Both Burkina Faso, Togo, Ivory Coast and Mali all sort Ghana's intervention in their political crisis. Ghana is more influential in Africa than your country... Evidence lies in the voting block of the AU that both countries lead.

When I say far and wide, I mean from Asia to the Americas
In Africa and into Europe
Ghana has zero influence in this world. Maybe a poster child for fiscal incompetence...

To cut long story short Ghana Kenya Nigeria are all seeking financial help from external bodies. If your oil rich country was well managed you wouldn't be taking money from IMF
