Now that starlink is present in Nigeria, I see a lot of people rushing to order the hardware. Currently, you can only pay for the service in dollars which is definitely going to be at black market rate.

Since they're now available in Nigeria, you should be able to pay for it in the local currency which is likely going to be way more cheaper if that happens.

I think you're right, Netflix always debit my gtb automatically for monthly subscription. It wasn't like that before.

It's even more than that! The amount you see on the site shows the Naira equivalent of the price which is CBN. In reality, you'll have to pay in dollars. That's almost ₦450k in black market rate. Most of these people on nairaland forming rich guys probably don't know this!

Thank God, if you can afford things like this. More than 80% Nigerians can't afford to eat three times daily. This isn't even a joke.

Inflation and unemployment are at an all time high. I'm sure the vicious cycle of poverty comes to mind.
