He never lived up to expectation. Agreed injury played a role but the times he played he didn't show the difference needed as a star, his performance was so inconsistent and if classified as flop it can be justified. He has the talent to succeed but maybe he lacked the motivation to always push himself above his demons and that made him unsuccessful at Man utd.
