While this is commendable, this should be the work of the Local Government. The problem with Nigerians is ... if you are pro the candidate, you see nothing wrong with it. If you are anti...you hate what he is doing. We do not focus on the SYSTEMS and PROCESSES. State Govt needs to empower the LGAs and provide oversight or shame the non-performing ones. That will make govt work for and be closer to the people.

Federal Govt releasing allocations to states...should public the fundings to the states and demand accountability from the Governors. Citizens should demand budgets be made available online, so the funds from the states plus allocations can be tracked by the citizens. Contracts provided should be made public, so citizens can know who is doing what and who got what, and who will be hiring for what project.

We are behind because instead of reforming the processes and creating transparency and accountability, we defend OUR own PARTY representatives regardless of how they go about it. Until all of these change, NOTHING will ever change. We see the WRONGS...we know people in our FAMILIES doing wrong, but we excuse, defend or ignore them and what they are doing against the people.
