timbros:Since you couldn't find any tangible thing Jorginho did in the final, it means he flopped. Now tell us what he did extraordinarily in the Semifinal. Jorginho is a small game player - Timbros, 2023. |

airmark:First answer me if it's only semi and final Chelsea played in UCL then I'll tell you the extra ordinary thing he did. |

Leyqute:Timbros can be disappointing. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 9:07pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
timbros:Those are the two biggest matches in the tournament, where big players prove themselves. Now tell me what he did extraordinarily in those matches. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Leyqute(m): 9:08pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
timbros:Present your hypothesis in a per 90 mins format and I'll give you an answer. Per 90 stat evaluates players based on how long they stay on the pitch, not if they played a match or not. It gives better accuracy on player evaluations although it's only effective when there isn't a massive difference between number of minutes played- like 200 vs 2000. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 9:08pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
Leyqute:Understand the context of a discussion before jumping into conclusion. How can you bring a per 90 metric when we are discussing a player being carried in a tournament? Can a player with lesser minute carry an ever present member of the squad? What does per 90 mins got to do with this? I don't argue ignorantly. If Kante carried Jorginho, he must have played more minutes. How can you carry someone from the bench or from the hospital bed or from suspension? Imagine being injured and Jorginho is there on the pitch doing his thing and you want to use per 90 to calculate both players contribution over the course of the season? Dey reason well na. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 9:10pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
Leyqute:Context again. So if a player played one match or two, you will use his performance against a player that played across the 13 matches of the competition? So he carried the other player just in that 2 matches he played? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 9:11pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
airmark:Atletico was a small match abi? Porto was a small match too? Dey play. Just dey play. |

Suddenly ibime no remember Alisson saves in the final, but he remember all Donnaruma PK saves ![]() Agenda can be really funny.
|
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Leyqute(m): 9:14pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
timbros:You don't have to play more minutes to carry someone along, you only have to be more effective whenever you're on the pitch with them. And UCL is not a 3 game tournament. To get to the final, you'll play about 14 games. That's almost half of the whole league campaign in Germany. So Per 90 stats count. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 9:17pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
Leyqute:Smh. Ok. Even say UCL na 14 game tournament ![]() |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Leyqute(m): 9:18pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
timbros:That's why I said this Leyqute:Per 90 stat counts when the difference isn't massive - which is true in this context. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 9:19pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
timbros:But why is it difficult for you to tell us what Jorginho did in those big games? 😄😄😄😄 |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 9:21pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
Leyqute:Jorginho played 1031 mins. Kante played 708 mins. Difference of 323 mins. Do you know that 323 mins in football is 3 and half matches? The difference isn't massive. ![]() |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 9:22pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
airmark:Why is it difficult for you to tell us if UCL is only semi and final? Do you just wake up and play semi finals and final? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Leyqute(m): 9:27pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
timbros:LoL. Don't twist my words. I didn't say UCL is 14 games. I said you'll play about 14 games to get to the UCL final. And if you're in the playoffs, it's more. Ajax played more than 15 games to get to the semi final in 2019. That's more than enough games to make evaluations on a per 90 basis. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 9:29pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
timbros:In your whoscored rating, you see VVD was among the top 3 performers in the final. Now, let's check how your Jorginho performed according to whoscored below. No wonder City said only Kante stopped them in the middle. Jorginho was the 2nd poorest performer for us on the pitch. A big flop in the biggest game of Ucl.

timbros:Since you used it as your authoritative site, so I used it to show you that your Jorginho wasn't rated by your site in the final. If Kante and others were as useless as Jorginho in that final, would Chelsea have won the title? That's why you couldn't point to one tangible thing the spineless DM did when it mattered most. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 9:51pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
airmark:Did Chelsea wake up one morning and just played Semi final and qualified for final? No wonder you can't give me another site to compare Pulisic and Jorginho ![]() |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Leyqute(m): 9:52pm On Feb 13, 2023 |
timbros:For a bench warmer like Jorginho at Arsenal who plays maybe 20 mins every matchday, 323 mins is like 16 matches. So, what are you talking about? You calculate the difference between the two players in relation to the competition they're playing. Jorginho: 1031mins, which is 88% of the 1170 mins Chelsea played tl get to UCL final. Kante: 708- 61% of the whole minutes. So, Kante played 61% of the games, which is about 70% of J5's total minutes. How massive is that difference now? Per 90 stats count. |

timbros:Look at your Jorginho and his poor rating by your site below, among all the Chelsea players. No wonder he has been thrown away to Arsenal. 😄
