President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast tomorrow, February 16, 2023 at 7 am.

Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the NTA and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.

I wish he can also sack Emefiele.

Emefiele should take majority of the blame, this policy is his idea, he sold the policy to Buhari, Buhari should have consulted with his economy adviser before making a decision though.

Okay. The wisdom and leadership of President Buhari is urgently needed at this period.

His CBN appointee is disobeying court order and it is probably necessary to consider suspending Mr Emefiele from office for incompetence for now to restore confidence and trust in the CBN again.

Honestly speaking,this New naira note is affecting businesses and standard of living of citizens. I think it should be extended. Let the Law enforcement agencies handle vote buying,while the new electoral reforms protect against electoral malpractices. I don't think currency should be a factor in conducting any credible elections especially when such have adverse affect on the economy and national lives. Currency is more of economy than politics,therefore, people should not be subjected to hardship just because of elections. A quick reminder,not everybody is involved in vote buying and selling but almost everybody is feeling the heat of this new naira note.
We did not need change of notes to conduct credible elections and electing of good leaders in the past,so why now.
The new naira note is a good idea but the implementation is being carried out in coerced way, what I can advise the FG and CBN to do is to allow the old and new notes to be a legal tender,until enough of the new notes is in circulation,while mopping out the old notes, in doing so, a strong security mechanism should be put in place to prevent hoarding,using the notes for criminal purpose or ransome payment. Such mechanism is cash withdrawal limits, getting the serial numbers of notes in terms of bulk withdrawal.
