It is not not within the Supreme Court jurisdiction to determine what is a Legal tender in Nigeria.

This is what I keep explaining , this is where there is limitation to the rule of law.

My opinion is that he feels the court is being unnecessarily influenced against him which he is not willing to give in to.

This is an interesting point of view and thinking of it now you have a very valid point about what is driving Buhari as far as this ₦ issue is concerned.

I am beginning to worry about the quality of education some Nigerians have . The first question to ask is ...what was the supreme Court pronouncement b4 adjournment? The supreme Court said status quo should remain pending torte judgement...suddenly naive people started jubilation and accusing buhari and emefele of not obeying Court order . The problem is with the court ...they weren't specific as to there definition of status quo. The govt understanding of status quo remains the order they gave which maintains that some old naira notes are no longer legal tender . If supreme Court wanted to be on the side of those accusing buhari...they would ve expressly said ...status quo means old notes should Co exist with new notes.......

If it is the supreme court that make a person who took 4th position governor that 6ou are talking about then they supreme court is very stupid

Supreme court cannot decide if money is legal tender or not. That power is given to mr president through the CBN. Anybody that collect old 500 or old 1000 is on his own. They are not more legal tender.
Tomorrow is the last day for CBN to receive the old naira notes.
