For the record Enzo is a CM/CAM, he occasionally plays Regista because he is good there too. CM are not meant to be pacy but dictate and control the game effectively which Enzo is very good at. He is progressive with passes and movement too this is why he can play CAM.

We should always try to understand player profile and this is why it is advisable and important to do eye test on matches, with this you will know your player more.

Mount can press and square but his passes are average, his positioning as a CAM or AMF is average this is why he struggle in three man midfield. If only he had good passes his positioning won’t matter as an attacking midfielder.

Havertz is not pure striker, he is a false 9 or SS and will flourish in a team that play quick transitional football or in a not so physical league. Chelsea awful passes from midfield before Enzo hasn’t done any attacking players good too, this is why Mount is not actually needed because he most times play for himself which is not elite football mentality.
