A good policy got politicized and ended up a big fiasco. Trying to kill a mosquito by burning down an entire house is a dumb thing to do. Why didn't this policy implemented when Buhari and Emefiele had all the time at their disposal to monitor it to their satisfaction? Now people who have as little as 10k are now expected to suffer so much and abandon other things to TRY and deposit the money? |

Aufbauh:Like someone said, this is not a cash swap but cash confiscation. Imagine an average middle class putting 100,000 for swap and being told he can only be given 3,000 in the bank as withdrawal. Of course, nobody gets sacked or resigns in Nigeria for this. |

The court is just crazy to keep adjorning this case., and it really shows that our judiciary system is wack. Besides, Buhari is heartless to think that weaponizing Naira against vote buying is the way out knowing fully well what money means to the people except He is altogether clueless. |

emmykk:Customers have to generate a number in the CBN portal before they can deposit. And the money won't hit their accounts till CBN approves. So, it's not a direct Bank deposit per se. |
