There is no difficulty in generating reference. This can be done in 2 minutes. I made deposit in Zenith bank today. We just don't follow simple instructions in this country.

Obi supporters are the worst kind of opposition you can ever see.
They have no ideology, no direction.
Just running after a man who have no ideology also.
What a shame.
By this time next week, Obi's supporters would have known the difference between leaders and mouth makers.
Thanks to the banks in Nigeria for standing by the people.God Reward you people richely.

This is just propaganda no bank in Nigeria opened to collect deposit.

The collection of old N500 and N1000 will only be deposited after election. This is because any move to accept deposit will generate crises.

So the President,CBN and commercial bank will play low until after election.

It is not a propaganda. It is true.

If you have old money don't panic they will be asked for to be deposited in after election.

Customers have to generate a number in the CBN portal before they can deposit. And the money won't hit their accounts till CBN approves.
So, it's not a direct Bank deposit per se.
Yes u generate code from CBN portal, print take it to the bank with the money and they give u instant value, immediate value, as at yesterday and today u get INSTANT value. I say this cos I know

It's obvious this naira swap policy isn't working well and will not work even after the election.

People should ask Obj how did Tinubu managed to succeeded even after withholding Lagos state allocation for 4 yrs.

A man who knows how to win can win in any circumstances.
Buhari has goofed..

None of the northern Emir is supporting him on this..

Wrong information..

Why are you trying to confuse the public?

Why don't you report accurate news?

Why have you not inserted in this article that the customers that are depositing old notes will have to log on the CBN portal and it will take a period of 4 weeks before they get credited?

Fake news everywhere.

Public beware!!!

Stay positive!!

Let them give those who have old Notes the opportunity to deposit them. While urchins can keep their own for tinumbu.

The banks are probably scared of mob actions against them if they don't service their customers.

You were misled
The announcement was made on the 16th almost 2 days back. Visit the CBN website and fill in the form to get your ref no & head to bank first thing on Monday morning to return the money. Nobody will accept old notes from u, not even the POS guy who gave it to u. & I must say the POS guy is not a very good person for giving u that note. Be careful of him.

The major challenge we are having aside the scarcity of the naira notes is the confusion coming from CBN and banks on daily basis.
Emefiele knows Buhari is wrong but he has to follow orders and now he has started giving different orders to banks behind closed doors and say different things in public to pacify Buhari

I just read a news that banks will be shut down on Monday till after the election. Do they want to starve Nigerians to death?

Those hailing Mr President and Emefiele for the naira redesign, come and defend this action.

This is worse than covid 19 era ooo.
