The collection of old N500 and N1000 will only be deposited after election. This is because any move to accept deposit will generate crises.

For now there is no deadline. I think even if it's extend beyond the election it will still curb it a little cos many people won't even accept it cos of the stress of going to the bank. But personally I won't want it to extend beyond 25th

A friend who works with a bank actually confirmed they got a mail from CBN on Friday to accept the old redesigned 500 and 1000 notes from customers. The friend said the mail came when they were preparing to close.

That's exactly my point. Many northern states don't have IGR and monthly allocations of many southern states but your govs have used huge borrowings to kill most of these southern states. Lagos debts is nearly 1 trillion naira now. When you factor that in, Lagos can't stand beside many of these Northern states
