I know some Nigerian lawyers will interpret this matter to favour them.

They don't know anything about law but they keep ranting on social media like dumbs, he was serving his second term as Rep when he won with Audu, has anything change, election is still November and by that time he will be a serving Rep , if he won the Gubernatorial he resigned as a Rep and another election would be conducted to fill position. The law only says you can't contest for 2 different position in same election cycle. Thesame way a Governor needs not to resign before contesting for Senate. Under electoral act you can't contest for an election if you are above 18 and you are a Nigerian no law mandate the State you come from.
