The only hope Peter Obi has is if he gets enough votes in the Southeast to grant him the highest votes cast amongst the candidate. That may lead to a rerun.

Technically he has lost has he did not hit the 25% threshold in 24 states. He is far from that figure.

If he and Atiku were to merge forces in a rerun, or even add Kwankwaso, then Peter Obi should win.

So, a rerun should be Obi's present wish for now.
