LP Candidates Defeat PDP Reps Members In Enugu’s Seven Constituencies by clockwisereport(op): 6:31pm On Feb 27, 2023

The Labour Party has won seven House of Representatives seats in Enugu State.

DAILY POST had earlier reported that the party won the Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency election.

Other Federal Constituencies won by Labour Party include Enugu East/Isi-Uzo, where Prof. Paul Nnamchi defeated incumbent Reps member, Cornelius Nnaji.

It is the same in Enugu North/Enugu South. Chimaobi Atu of LP defeated PDP Reps member, Offor Chukwuegbo.

In other results, the LP also won Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Reps seat.

Nwodo Chijioke of LP defeated the incumbent lawmaker, Mr. Martins Oke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

For Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, Mr. Dennis Agbo of the LP was also declared the winner.

Agbo, who was in the Green Chamber between 2015 and 2019 polled 28870 votes to defeat the serving PDP Reps member, Atigwe Simon who got 14229 votes.

Aninri/Awgu/Oji River, as well as Udi/Ezeagu also went to LP. Festus Uzor, a former Chief of Staff to the Enugu State Governor, lost the election.

Now, money could not stop Lagos from becoming Obedient. Obi's name is deposing tyrants. Money embezzled over a long time could not give Enugu polithievians victory.

I'm happy for this , esp Martins Oke who used to visit my late Dad for political alliance... When i wasn't up to 7 years old . He came to our house with a white Daewoo car then. I'm almost 40 years old and this Man is still contesting to represent us.

Dr Martins Oke is a good man. He really tried for Aku and Igbo etiti in general. I remember he was replaced by Stella Ngwu during Sullivan's reign. He was brought back by Ugwuanyi

My honest advice to Peter Obi is that he should stay in LP and build it, he shouldn't decamp to any other party. No one expected him to perform the way he did in a structureless party he rushed into less than 9 months to the election. He silenced all his critics by giving the so called parties with structures a run for their money.

LP now has senators and Reps members across the country. He should spend the next 4 years building the party and increasing his popularity in the North. We all know him here in the South.

By 2027, he'll be unstoppable.

No matter the rigging for the dead bat people will shall prevail. Just watch ekiti results it was uploaded Feb 20 before election...so Peter obi shall reclaim his mandate sooner or later in the courts ...Inec and APC stood against the will of Nigerian citizens. and they will fail. instead let military take over ..a democracy without the will of the people is tyranny and we won't accept it

This elections has produced NASS members across party lines....from LP, NNPP, SDP, APGA, APC and PDP...

It's one of the most diverse elections in the history of Nigeria..

A good development from the old order.

Many State Governors seeking to go to Senate, which have been a norm and a walkover for most of them before now, are losing ..

Many Governors God son, sons, in-laws ..who have won party tickets by any means necessary...are losing..

A lot has changed...and it's not business as usaul.
