Pedri who rescued us in several laliga games shortly before his injury is out. We just have a defense. That's assuming Xavi doesn't decide to be unfortunate and start with alba, Alonslow or Garlic....

In midfield, just dejong is actually the one we can fully rely on. Gavi though good but might just come back from suspension and take another red card.

Haha Joker, they needed to do that to put Messi's win in proper context. For you naysayers to appreciate the magnitude of Messi's win better:

- that what Ronaldo struggled to do but couldnt do against Morocco and other minions, is what Messi achieved against all odds vs stronger opponents in Qatar.

And have you forgotten that it was fellow players and coaches that voted this time around and not "biased" journalists as you guys claim for the Ballon dor?

4 out of the last 6 World cups have produced the best player award winner. Messi's 2022 individual performance would have been second only to De Lima's 2002 exploits or even first if we take the surrounding team quality into account. So why shouldn't he have won?

Maybe it is time Barcelona abandoned their pride and let go of below-par Spanish players like Eric Garcia, Ferran Torres, Sergi Roberto and embrace reality. I know there is financial issues but we can't continue with such low quality players.
