Theuniverse:No wonder you were happy with threatening Potters family So you want Chelsea fans to be calling and emailing some random Clearlake dudes in South Africa? If you get comportment, you would know these are South African numbers and email addresses. Now na to disturb some random worker at Clearlake South Africa who may be working for their Pharma or Tech division and definitely knows nothing about Chelsea You better write off the season and take a chill pill |

Jodera:Anybody who played football slightly will be appalled by the ignorance of what you deem smart. When has it become a crime to clear out a ball in that situation? Miss me with this your talks of Jorginho,it doesn't apply here atleast not for me. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 12:43am On Feb 28, 2023 |
Jodera:I'm quite surprised Popi said that. I mean that was obvious. 3 options. 1. Shield the ball so your keeper can save the rebound 2. Boot it wide as far as you can - pata pata throw-in 3. If no further option - corner dey dia (though that's not my preferred option but still an option) However you look at it, what he did was NOT the right option. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by popizaino(m): 12:50am On Feb 28, 2023 |
FBS:Winning your eye test did not change anything about my view concerning football, I see it just the way any objective minded person should see it. We should looking for blames were there is none. Moment like the clearance from Enzo happens in every other times in games that ends up with nothing and even sometimes turns out advantageous. So you can not bin this rare occurrence that it happened against us as his fault. Now watch the highlights below, notice the ball shot from horjberg in the 46secs that was cleared off by James to cornekick. If Tottenham had scored from the resulting cornekick will you have blamed James for not leaving Kepa to go for the initial catch rather than clearing it out for corner? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c61yCta-SOQ |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jodera: 1:09am On Feb 28, 2023 |
popizaino:Lol... That's never been smart and I'm surprised you see it as one. The smartest and easiest thing to do is to guide the ball and ensure the keeper gets hold of it. In fact, that was kepa intention until Enzo "dribbled" him . It's not as if any Spurs players where threatening for a rebound that he made such rushed decision. To think you even think that as the correct option says a lot |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Jodera: 1:12am On Feb 28, 2023 |
FBS:The easiest and obvious thing is the number 1. Any other option means he didn't trust the keeper at all. Man had to literally dribble Kepa just so he couldn't catch it, then his option is to clear it and not even as far away as possible. And Popi thought that's the best option. Wahalaeux ![]() |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 1:25am On Feb 28, 2023*. Modified: 10:18am On Feb 28, 2023 |
popizaino:There is NOTHING remotely objective about it. Nothing. I don't have the watch the highlights again cos every time I do, it just make me question Enzo's IQ. Like what the heck man! But let's see 1. 39 secs - Shot from J Felix, Foster saves, drops and then catches the ball again. No pressure but Romero (Number 11) could have attempted to do strong head carry ball go, did he? No, he just did enough to prevent Sterling from the ball and you could see that Sterling already turned away. No chance. 2. 46 secs - James rightfully cleared the ball away as we told you, kicking it to safety is the key there. Kepa was rooted to the spot, had no idea what was going on, how is that so hard to understand? 3. Now look at this and tell me what business does Enzo have taking that ball? We are taking that eye test trophy from you.

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by popizaino(m): 3:01am On Feb 28, 2023 |
FBS:Let get things straight. Yes the smartest thing to do there is to sheild the ball for Kepa but he might not have been aware that there was no danger at his back as seen from how he quickly try to clear the ball away from the area. This kind of scenario happens very well in football that doesn't even result to goal in 99.9% of the time so why are we so particular about this one when it's such a rare occurrence. What happened there was not any players fault. I will be the first person to call out a player when he is not dutiful in his duty but this one here is a non-starter. Lastly,Oga Balogun pls join the regular trolls here, you have taken it upon themselves as duty to be be looking for every reason to vilify Enzo Fernandez since we bought him and discarded their favourites. They watch every game to magnify the simplest of thing fails he doesnt do and turn a big blind eye to everything he does well. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 3:39am On Feb 28, 2023*. Modified: 4:31am On Feb 28, 2023 |
popizaino:You are barking up the wrong tree. I have never blamed Enzo for anything other than that obvious mistake which anyone (even those new to football) will quickly grasp that the best option is to shield the ball or at least safety first. Any shove from the back he will fall and the ref will definitely blow but it shouldn't even get to that. Must we spew this out for you? Come on man. You provided a clip and I analysed it for you. I'm truly disappointed but hey, who cares anyway. Have a nice day. |

![]() Jodera:I was surprised at the lack of Smoke Enzo got. Maybe because people were preoccupied with election matters. That action was rather rash. The smart thing to do was shield the ball and allow kepa claim it. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 10:20am On Feb 28, 2023 |
FBS:Shield what ball when Kepa has made a save and is sprawled on the floor Shielding back to Kepa was never an option because Kane could to that ball before Kepa gets off the floor. Nobody is going to take the chance of a sprawled keeper shifting his body in time to get that ball at that speed The only thing you could say is he could play it for throw The main weakness in that movie is Felix who the ball was played to and did not have enough strength to win the ball, or enough sense to use his body to unbalance Skipp. Felix was favourite for that ball and was swatted aside like a weakling. That's the main problem, nothing else

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by FBS: 10:24am On Feb 28, 2023 |
Ibime:The ball was right in front of Kepa. Look at the image again. He basically took the ball off Kepa and there was no need to. The second option was throw-in and lastly corner which would have even been easier but not my preferred option. He had to turn to boot that ball....Go and watch again. Felix too fall hand but he was never going to get that ball, he ain't physical. The genesis of the problem started with Enzo. I am ready to argue with you on this all day and night. Bring it on. |

What I dreaded most is currently happening. I knew that these new shiny toys that came in January will soon cast if they continue playing under this talentless coach. Mudryk was literally playing like Prime Hazard in the first game, today he is Timo Werner João Felix first two games were very good, Today he is now a big livability, can't even create chances again Enzo Fernandes is now becoming Jorginho. Madueke and co no sign of improvement. Badiashile that was rock in his first few matches was very shaky in his last game. He made a lot of mistakes. The more the play for Potter, their chances of turning into Mount and Havertz |
