Even in the East, there is a video of an old papa being molested for voting APC. Now imagine if we had many Yorubas in the East and some of them were going to vote for APC.

Elections in Africa are hardly free and fair without inducement, coersion, manipulations or violence. Even in the USA. Remember the Florida recount of 2000 or is it Russians hacking USA election cyberware? Or the mafia buying votes for Kennedy in 1960? But this Nigerian 2023 election is quite peaceful and fair. But a lot of the youth are miscalculating the grievances of the youths which pushed them to vote Obi as general factors. They forget others even among the youths are Very calculating when it comes to electioneering. Obi will come third. Even if the elections were conducted by angels with swords of fire, Obi could not win. Maybe he'd come second.

It surprises me till date that Obi and Kwankwanso followers never got this logic until now. How do you go against a strong incumbent with several millions of registered party members spread across the country and you go divided?

Few days before the election, I thought the Obidients were the most deluded in thinking they could win but I was even more shocked listening to Kwankwanso followers on Twitter spaces who were also sure they would win. Delusion at its peak.

Yes, any cry of rigging rings hollow, as the gap is too wide. The election despite the glaring mess still largely reflects the general will of the people. People want more of the same. APC will continue to wreck havoc. I pity Nigeria.

it's plain idiotic to support someone in another country purely for tribal pride..its idiotic to do it in your country. MOI was my tribe and ruled kenya for 24yrs..I never supported him. I support Ruto now because he is great leader..not because he is my tribes..that is added advantage kind of thing. I supported Obi because he seems to have good handle of the issues facing Nigeria.
