Aniakor Chiamaka Miracle, social entrepreneur and founder Onyemaechi Memorial Foundation has congratulated Engr. Osita Ngwu, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), candidate for emerging as Enugu West Senatorial District winner at the recent election held in the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Ngwu winner of the election in the early hours of Monday.

Ngwu polled 52,473 votes to defeat other parties candidates at the Senatorial election.


In a press statement, ambassador Aniakor, a member of the senator-elect team, said: "A big congratulations to my esteemed boss and Enugu West senator-elect, Engr Osita Ngwu for his landslide victory at the recent poll.

"Indeed, with you, Enugu West Senatorial zone’s interest will be sympathetically and fully protected at the National Assembly".

"As always, you can rely on my continued loyalty and peaceful working relationship", she added.

2023 election will go down in history as the worst democratic exercise in the history of Nigeria. From president down to the least, errors are widely observed and the emergence of some winners are questionable.

A victory smeared with controversial presidential election. I do feel that some of this minor positions should be elected separately to give the people the right choice to make and not somewhat merged with the presidential poll. Now, there are lots of people winning some poll for instance under the influence of Peter obi of Labour Party

Exactly my thought too.
He must have been the best choice for the zone cos overt there in east people voted largely for Peter obi that that they don't mind voting anyone in that Labour party too.

Let's hope he do well enough to make his people proud cos such strong love is uncommon
