The igbos are minority in lagos and are not enough to move votes in Lagos state. The reason is that majority of igbos live in the South East. The same thing goes for the hausas.

The vast majority of Lagosians are the Yorubas from different part of the yoruba states, they are the majority and the ones moving the votes with the help of various minorities like the igbos, hausas and others

The last presidential election showed that the yorubas with the help of all other minorities like the igbos, hausa and ijaw etc voted massively for both parties.

This is just reality, a minority group in a city cant move votes.
