Rx300 is a strong car and reliable car
Check the engine, it should be sludge free (if there's sludge, engine hookup on the way)

Check catalyst, (if absent e go drink fuel like say e dey bear palour)

Check radiator fan and thermostat, (if it's direct check overheating record.)

If it pass these, you're safe
To be more safer just pay an expert to inspect the car for you.

The way this cars are cost ehn, so outrageous

RX 300 is fantastic. But if u can add small money on top, buy the 330. I'm currently using 300 tho.
Check for catalyst converters... I think the car uses 2 or 3, can't remember
O2 sensors- they're 2
Thermostat- they're 2
Then one common issue with it is the central lock... This thing can cause parasitic drain on ur battery. No b small thing my eye see before I fixed it.
Tyres- check if it's FWD or 4WD. The tyre depends sizes must match for the 4WD or u use same sizes per axles for FWD. 225/70R16

Just go with a good mechanic that understands ur needs n budget.
