helinues:So you think igbos would be sad that an efulefu like Orji uzo Kalu is not made Senate president? APC should even sack him entirely, we igbos will be more happy about that , than him getting the SP. You talking about harvesting, who told you we care to harvest from APC? Delusional as usual ![]() Political business men. |

Yamiriflathead:When we are seeking peace, reconciliation and reintegration, we must be realistic and open minded. APC has a slight majority in the Senate. If the party will make the SP concession to the south east, then it has to be a senator from SE APC and nothing else. We all saw how things played out under Bukola Saraki as senate president. A Tinubu presidency can’t afford. So, let’s be realistic here. Conceding the SP to the SE despite the hatred for the party and the president-elect is already more than a good gesture. It doesn’t have to be Orji Uzor Kalu. It can be Umahi or any other SE APC Senator. What’s important to me is the need to reintegrate Igbos back into national relevance. An Igbo man must be on the table where major decisions about the country is being made. That’s the only way to start the healing process. |

SenatePresdo:if they reject that mumu Orji uzo kalu, will south east self will be happy, abeg leave them let them be turning Nairaland to tribaland and anti Igbo site. That wat d owner seun love in Nairaland, because tribelism comment give him more gain. |

helinues:Sometimes, we have to look at the bigger picture. NC and NW gave Tinubu this victory. They can both demand for the Senate president ahead of the SS. This country is terribly divided and we need to start the healing process. I’m not saying SS should be denied anything. I’m only saying if conceding the senate Presidency to the SE will start the healing process, I think we should give it a trial. I’m sure our SS brothers won’t oppose their SE brother getting the Senate presidency. |

helinues:Ewwwww ![]() I didn't know you are actually uninformed. Please you people should Sack Kalu, we don't care about any useless SP. We will never vote for APC theives any day, any time. Bitter lesson say them no give efulefu Kalu the SP? And it will start affecting the Igbos? Then we will learn a bitter lesson because of it? ![]() CC: Seun Mynd44 Nlfpmod How did you people manage to release this guy from the kirikiri maximum prison you locked him up? helinues:Abeg who senate president epp. Overrated position that can't change the life of the masses. You guys just don't know that Igbos have over grown all this rubbish you are bringing up. Whether Igbo become senate president or not, that will not take food away from our mouths . |

seunmsg:You think a Dave umahi Senate Presidency will truly appease the ibos? It means you don't understand what the fuss, dislike and distrust for the likes of Rochas, hope uzodimma, and Orji Uzor kalu bothers on. Their grouse is purely based on political affiliation and not even competency like they claim. There's a cancel culture for any politician in the APC from the SE. Infact they don't care how corrupt u are in the PDP or how good u are in the APC at all, once u switch to APC u're automatically a villian. Did mukila Adeola have anti Yoruba antecedents before yorubas ignored her and voted for a northerner? This is purely party matter jare If a strong northerner from whichever party were to contest for Senate Presidency with an iboman in the Senate, the Northerner may likely win him o. Because Northerners may vote their own especially since it's an iboman he's up against here and ibos and SS will still vote against him too. And A North/SE alliance would have been formed. It's too risky adventure Besides umahi is a first time Senator too and he's not eligible for now, unlike Akpabio that delivered his state. You want to give an iboman political relevance through APC but can the iboman give APC polical relevance in the SE? Since you want to give an Iboman SP presidency to integrate them I'd also love to nominate one for Cheif of Army staff too u know, to Foster peace and unity😁 |

FatherCHRISTMAS:Kalu made himself clear before the election that if Apc can not microzone the party ticket to SE, Northerners should have it. Who did Kalu support in the Apc presidential primary? It's logical for the winners to reflect on the outcome of polls to see those who work against or in favour. It's obvious Kalu work against Tinubu, why should such person be trusted for SP position? |

greatiyk4u:No place like home not like Igbo's case.. If our region is not conducive or peaceful, your people won't be flocking enmass their. When would your region attract others for them to flock to? What development activities is happening there? Don't even let us talk about how illiterate kids are locking their grandpa and grandma at home every Monday.. |
| Re: SE Missed Senate President Position by greatiyk4u(m): 12:49pm On Mar 05, 2023 |
helinues:You are very funny Our people are everywhere including terrorists ravaged north because of our adventurous instincts There are many hausa/fulani doing big businesses in the east here Your wives, mothers and sisters selling agbo jedi in the east, what are they looking for? Majority of yoruba have just administrative mindset, hence they hardly travel for fear of not able to compete Do igbos troop into Lagos for administrative jobs or contracts? It is purely business and that can only thrive where you have comparative advantages in terms of ability to compete and excel Shalom, I have exposed enough to you |
| Re: SE Missed Senate President Position by PDPdestroyer(m): 12:56pm On Mar 05, 2023 |
seunmsg:I think I disagree with your position here. Igbos are not known to appreciate any form of love shown to them, instead they term it as cowardice, we can see how it's playing out in Lagos. They should be excluded, let them do their worst |
