The other thread began here ->
Entire Kenya has 52billion dollars economy,
Lagos state alone has 92biliion dollars..

Now Kenya GDP has doubled to 120B.

Nigeria GDP is stuck where it was since 2014 - 400-500B - depending on the USD.

QuietMynd:
Hw many time will kenya gdp get to $120b in a year.
I have been hearing the $120b figure since the previous thread.
Am curious tho

Dry season is over.
Ghanaians are scared for their lives and the cost to count this year now that the rain is here.

A city with open sewages and refuge dumps everywhere. Why won't it be flooded during rainfall. This is the major reason why you can never compare Accra with Port Harcourt or Enugu, let alone Abuja and Lagos.

Flooding in los Angeles usa🤣 🤣
Floods are the most frequent type of natural disaster and occur when an overflow of water submerges land that is usually dry.

Kenya is seeking a credit facility from a group of banks as it nationalizes the importing of fuel to enable it to defer payments and conserve its depleting forex reserves.

Dollar Shortage Spurs Kenya to Seek $4.8 Billion Oil-Supply Cover.

-KCB Bank, Standard Bank, others to issue letters of credit

-Government plans to defer fuel payments by at least six months

no mind them. All they do is borrow money, pay celebrities to say nice things about but can build common drains and toilets in the capital.
Imagine a capital of a country getting flooded by the first rain of the year.

we're talking about your slummy capital city that gets submerged after 20 minutes of rain.
Stop paying people to say nice things about your country with borrowed money.
Build drains and toilets in your capital. It's 2023 for crying out loud. Flash flood is defined as heavy rain that last for at least 6hrs but in Accra case, 15 rain can get half of the city flooded.
Build drains and toilets in 2023

Great news. Very few cats were getting wealthy importing oil but we can't have Dangote type characters and monopolies in the country.

Nigeria economy the last decade has been either under recession or growing by 1 - that amount to zero work done by Buhari.
South Africa is undergoing the same mess.

Economy just doesn't grow on it's on. You got to work on it.

As Nigeria replace 75yr old with 75yr olds - here is 37 yr old Nairobi governor (he was already a senator - then before that an MP)

55yr old President
37yr old Nairobi governor

Both are clocking 15hours daily in real work done - Buhari and Tinubu can hardly stay awake for 4hours a day

Officially opened the Pre-Bidders conference for our Urban Renewal Affordable housing program. We are redeveloping 9 County Estates (Bahati, Maringo, Jericho, Lumumba, Ziwani, Bondeni, Kariobangi, Embakasi and Woodley that will create > 40,000 housing units for our people
