*Dr Tony Nwoye Receives ‘Certificate of Return’ After Election Victory over Stella Oduah, Obiano Wife.*

Abuja- Dr Tony Nwoye, a Medical Doctor and politician, on Tuesday at International Conference Centre, Abuja received his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC after bieng declared the winner of the Anambra North senatorial election in Anambra State.

The Presentation of the Certificate was done by INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.

Dr Tony Nwoye thanked God Almighty who made this very day possible. He thanked and appreciated Mr Peter Obi, all Obidient families and supporters for their love, solidarity and support. He promised to give Anambra North, Anambra State and Nigeria a robust Representation they will be proud of. He urged them to look forward to his diligent service and contribution towards the nation-building.

Joining him in receiving the certificate was his lovely wife, Mrs Ifeyinwa Nwoye, Hon Tony Macfoy and host of others.

Also, Joining Dr Tony Nwoye in a group photograph were Senator Olugbenja Daniel, (Former Ogun State Governor), Senator Godswill Akpabio (Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Former Senate Minority Leader) etc

The elected legislators include 98 out of 109 Senate, and 325 out of 360 House of Representatives seats. Seven parties won in the Senate, while eight parties won House of Representatives seats.

House of Representatives-elect are expected to receive theirs on Wednesday at the same venue.

In terms of party representation for the 10th Assembly, the INEC chief said APC won 57 Senate seats; the PDP, 29; LP, 6; SDP, 2; NNPP, 2; YPP, 1; and APGA, 1. For the lower chamber, the electoral chair said the APC has 162 seats; PDP, 102; LP, 34; NNPP, 18; APGA, 4; ADC, 2; SDP, 2; YPP, 1.

There is no baggages and Tony doesn’t go around with thugs. Those young men you see or call thugs are graduates of Higher institutions who played their roles during NANS struggle. They are not thugs.

All the things you hear about Tony is they say they say. None has been proven anywhere.
In all this, what is Tony offence? Tony Nwoye contested NANS president against all odds and won his election as first Igbo undergraduate to become NANS President. Before this NANS struggle, he was elected Speaker Student Parliament University of Nigeria Nsukka.

He later became PDP Chairman and delivered all PDP Candidates in 2007 Elections in Anambra State. He contested for House of Reps In 2011 and 2015 and won both and represented the good people of ANAMBRA East and West.

He has contested for the Governorship of Anambra with two different Parties and came second if not internal sabotage.

Today, he has won senate. So what makes him a thug or carry baggies if not propaganda by enemies of the people.

He is an opportunist. And you are what? Life is all about opportunities. When you have chance to get one. Grab it and make use of it. Create impact with that opportunity.

If you really know Tony. You will know he is not an opportunist. He works for every opportunity that comes his way.
All I can see in you is someone who is jealousy of his fellow youth achievements. Tony is not a son of a rich man. He came from poor background. God lifted him up for greatness.

No doubt Labour Party and Mr Peter Obi factor contributed 50% of the victory. He is aware of that. He also as an individual worked hard for his victory against a sitting Senator who has a lot of war chest to prosecute the election.

Tony nwoye is the only senatorial candidate that your all the 99 wards and 7 Local Govt area of ANAMBRA north. There are people who are with Labour Party ticket in Anambra State, they didn’t work for it. They all failed.

Perception is everything in politics. He needs an overhaul of his reputation, if he must make headway going forward.

But if you say he can carry that 'baggage' real or not, true of false and remain relevant, who am I to argue. Politics is dynamic. Stella Odua may unseat him in 2027. She knows the importance of reputational politics.

As for 2027, let us serve the people and anambra north first. By 2027, it will speak for itself. As for unseating nwoye. Oduah lacks the capacity and doesn’t have the structure to do so.

Go and ask her. It was Tony nwoye structure that was used to make Stella odua senator in 2015 and 2019.
