Following the Thursday accident involving a train and a Lagos State BRT staff bus in Shogunle area of Ikeja, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has suspended political campaigns.

Sanwo-Olu further ordered the national flags to be flown at half-mast to commensurate the victims of the train crash.

According to reports two persons were confirmed dead with several others injured.
