Nigeria forward, Gift Orban scored the fastest-ever hat-trick in the UEFA Europa Conference League as KAA Gent thrashed Istanbul Basaksehir 4-1 on Wednesday night.

Orban was on target in the 31st, 32nd and 34 minutes respectively.

The 20-year-old also scored Gent’s only goal in the first leg which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Gent scaled through to the quarter-finals 5-2 on aggregate.

Orban has now netted five goals in the competition, a goal behind leading scorer Luka Jovic.

It would be recalled that the young striker scored four times in Gent’s 6-2 win at Zulte Waregem last weekend.

He has now netted 12 times in nine appearances across all competitions for Gent this season.

Orban is a very fantastic striker who scored a haul over the weekend in the league and followed it up with a hatrick within 4minutes tonight.

Nine goals in 4 consecutive matches for the 20year old lad
He just joined Gent Football club in January and has already have 12goals.

He just needs to keep his head down and keep working hard on his skills and game.
