Data never lies. Kenya is now more food secure than Ghana. Majority of kenya live in small land that is arable and make it work. The few struggling with 5yr drought are in deserts and semi-arid. There is nothing we can do to make rainfall fall...if it refuses.

Ghana debt interest payment and amortization for 2023 is 3.5 billion dollars. Ghana budgeted 55 billion cedis. 34 billion cedis for domestic debt and the rest for external debt.

But after a successful domestic debt restructuring, Ghana will end up paying far less.... Just 2 billion cedis on domestic debt.
At this rate, Ghana does not even have to restructure external debt and the govt will have enough fiscal space to carry out it policies.

UAE is food secure,but they don't farm food as much as we do,it is a desert anyway.Their gov and systems make it easy to access food that's how it is.
It's not just all about having a drought.EGypt has a desert,so as Algeria,Morocco etc.
