Buhari left Abuja and went to Daura to vote. Rotimi Amaechi left Abuja and went to Rivers to vote. Yemi Osinbajo left Abuja and went to Ijebu to vote, even Peter Pandora Giringori Obituary left Lagos for Anambra to go and vote, please tell Emeka and Chukwuma to also go to Onitsha to vote. That is patriotism.

I am not interested in who governs Imo, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi or Anambra, Igbos too should not try to determine who governs Yoruba land, if not, it will continue to be bloody.

To win an election you have to build bridges across all the regions especially the North. This is what Yorubas, Edos,ijaw do in Politics but you guys think on your own you can win elections.

To the issue of Lagos, another huge voting block in Lagos is the Hausa- Fulanis but they go along with whichever Candidate the indigenous tribe go with. Most of them even go to the North to elect their leaders. It means they care for their home states and just come to Lagos to make a living but reverse is the case for Igbos they come to Lagos to not only do their business but want to use their voting block to Choose leaders who will have their own interest as against the interest of the indigenous people. They abandon their own states to rot to bad leaders and insecurities.

You tell a householder you are set to take over his household (like the Igbo trumpet that Lagos is no man’s land even when they are not the indigenous settlers of Lagos) and you expect him to hand over the keys to the door to you!
The Igbo are typically noisy, boisterous and grossly rude and not strategic enough to get along with others in an equal partnership. Just because they have made strides in their business endeavors living in Lagos is no reason to set about the same way they did previously in the North pre civil war which made the indigenous North put them in their place! I wish them well!
The South-South they have conscripted into Biafra Map are now set to take up The Senate Presidency. The other geopolitical zones apart from the SE who trusts no one, are more at home with Akpabio a South-South Nigerian than they would be with Kalu an Igbo🤔. Visit the internet and listen to what each of them had to say on critical issues before now.
The Igbo seriously need to tell themselves some home truth culled from Baba Chinua Achebe writings when he famously scripted as follows:-
“I will be the first to concede that the Igbo as a group is not without its flaws. Its success can and did carry deadly penalties: the dangers of hubris, overweening pride, and thoughtlessness, which invite envy and hatred or, even worse, than can obsess the mind with material success and dispose it to all kinds of crude showiness. There is no doubt at all that there is a strand in contemporary Igbo behavior that can offend by its noisy exhibitionism and disregard for humility and quietness.”
