Chukwuma Charles SOLUDO @CCSoludo

Today we activated the process of transforming Ekwulobia into a model city. I have flagged off the construction of a fly-over, a modern bus terminal, adjoining roads, security building, a fire Station amongst others, in the area.

This signposts our deliberate desire to reposition Ekwulobia as a fast emerging urban Centre.

Upon completion, this project will bring about ease of movement from Anambra into Imo State through the Uga-Akokwa corridor.

The project is handled by a reputable Company - AG Vision Construction Limited. The flyover which is about 300 meters long will span from Nanka to Uga. It is also about 5.4 meters tall, and is expected to be delivered in the next 18 months.

Anambra will surely win!

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has inaugurated the construction work on the Ekwulobia Flyover which coincided with his one year in office.

The project is in fulfillment of his promise as contained in the people’s manifesto.

The Governor explained that the activities of the old Aguata Union holds in Ekwulọbịa, entailing that it is the capital, which he regretted has become a shadow of itself.

The Governor pointed out that the contractor has been given thirty percent of the mobilization fund.

The Governor who added that road infrastructure projects embarked upon by his administration has a minimum guarantee of twenty years life span, said that Anambra deserves better.

The Commissioner for Works, Engineer Ifeanyi Okoma, in his speech disclosed that a first modern bus terminal will be built in the location with a capacity to accommodate one hundred buses, while four kilometres of roads would be constructed round it, among others, stressing that it will be an architectural masterpiece when completed in the next eighteen months.

Speaking earlier, the Transition Committee Chairman for Aguata Local Government Area, Dr. Chibuike Offorbuike appreciated the Governor for initiating such gigantic structure and expressed optimism that it is the beginning of better things to come to the area.

A party chieftain in the area, Chief Titus Anagbogu pledged their support to the Governor.

Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Wife of the Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, Traditional rulers, stakeholders in Aguata, among others, attended the event.

The Governor later took a trip to Ekwulọbịa Township Stadium, slated for construction by his administration.

Now that rails have been removed from exclusive to concurrent list, Anambra towns should be connected by railway. No more waiting for FG.

That's the winning Governor. Proper Education has lifted him up "far from the madding crowd." Just the kind of educated elite they should have allowed to set progressive agenda for the whole of Southeastern Nigeria, instead of the third-rate packaged fraud and Third-Class philosophy graduate. Obi can in no way hold a candle to Soludo any day, if the truth must be told! Who dash frog coat!

Keep wasting money. Instead of investing heavily in human capital development and pulling people out of poverty. You are investing in flyover.
