Chukwu Chizoba of Labor Party has defeated incumbent and former Governor of Enugu state Chimaroke Nnamani to win Enugu East Senatorial Election. Recalled that the election was postponed after Labor Party candidate Oyibo Chukwu was murdered days to the election. His brother Chizoba Chukwu was selected to represent him.
