I have been following the political situation in south west Nigeria, regarding the 2023 elections. What I don’t really understand about the Yoruba people is why are they always insecure around ibo people, they see ibo’s as a threat , threat from what I don’t know, they have this delusion that ibo’s wants to take over their land, how possible that is I still don’t know, oil wealth which they don’t have was used to build Lagos and made some of their fathers rich, if Lagos was not a capital I wonder what it would have looked like? Or if every region were controlling their resources how their lives would have been like, or if all ibo’s are to leave Lagos and if it is possible carry all their buildings along with them I wonder how their Lagos will be like, what they don’t realize is the day Nigeria will be no more, they will be worst hit because they will have nothing to sustain their Lagos. The south west is the poorest in terms of mineral resources, just like their counterpart in the northwest, if they disagree let us practice true federalism and let them manage their meager resources and let every ibo man leave their land , they will realize that even Cotonou with a sea port will be far ahead of them, let them continue to pray for Nigeria to remain one and for them to keep enjoying the oil wealth that they don’t have, because if they provoke the ibo’s to a point they will realize their mistake, let them ask their father’s that fought the civil war the reason why they did it, They did because of the oil wealth they are enjoying today. So the Yoruba’s must desist from anything that will destroy these nation especially tribal hatred against the ibo’s , let them think deep how their lives will be like if these country is no more, agbero’s will take over all parts of their land in an Oduduwa republic, with no ibo’s in their land to hate, they will now face each other, ibo’s have invested so much in your land , now they are planning of relocating their investments, mark my words true federalism is coming when oil wealth stops flowing to your region you will beg ibo’s to bring back their investment, after the civil war ibo’s worked so hard to have a lot of middle class, keep praying these country doesn’t go the way of Russia but the way of China (prosperity). I keep wondering who actually owns the Lagos they make so much noise about is it them or the Bini people ? Coming back to these elections ibo’s don’t really care who your governor is or who your president is we have made our point across, we care about our businesses more , as I said earlier keep praying for Nigeria to be one, and do things that will unite us and not divide us , if you keep saying ibo’s should leave Lagos it will be the beginning of your doom Leviaka is a social media commentator and wants these country to be united and great just like China, India, USA Japan and Korea PEACE AND ONE LOVE |

Even if a man 's land is barren you dont go there and call it no man's land. If he was friendly to you, he will become hostile. |

This ethnicity war is a game card prepared and cooked by APC spare headed by tinubu. If u check history, it has worked for them. Believe me, it is a very cheap strategy to win vote. But the future problems is what they can't see. |

There are more thugs, Agberos and urchins in Yoruba population than normal responsible humans among Yoruba. |

otipoju:Tribalist trying to backpedal now that the election is over & he realizes he needs Igbo money again. The hate & vitriol you & your fellow goons spread (empowered by the pro-APC NL) will have lasting effects. |

leviaka:Some of them are just fear fear.... Some of them, if they are not cheating each other or even Igbo, that day they won't be able to sleep comfortably.... Blame their parents, some of whom denied them and did not raise them since they give birth to kids from different people...... As life be.... |

N2B2:You are extremely stupid. My workers on the teams that I manage, are from Colombia, Mexico, USA,Canada, India, lebanon, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Germany working on projects you brain cannot even fathom at a basic level. This useless boasting will continue to be your undoing. Foolish set of people who take pride in developing other people's lands while their own home states are dilapidated. Economic refugees. I don't hate Igbos but if i did, would I be wrong in doing so considering the hate you people spit out everyday since Jonathan lost election. Shebi una talk sey Lagos na no man's land? Those who own the place have shown you the real landowners. Go and do your worst. Your insults were irritating enough to force decent yoruba people to be provoked to the extent that they would rather vote for a wicked APC just to make that loud statement that Lagos is indeed Yoruba state speaks volumes of the counter productive nature of hate and denigration of other tribes by the average Igbo person. |

otipoju:Keep quiet — you're just a tribalistic stain quietly walking back abhorrent behavior. At the end of the day, after all results are announced, tribalists will ditch their alt accounts, log back onto their main accounts, and say, "One Nigeria; let's do business." Only gutter trolls like you are urging for violence. But, in person, you're probably just skin & bones. |

Gullible? I don't think so. We don't forcibly sit a home on Mondays because of some teenager called Ekpa (groundnut) in far away Finland. We don't kick our parents every morning, our politicians do not engage in kerosene sharing development. We are not internal displaced, in fact the internally displaced okoros are in our region. We have not turned our region to Afghanestern. So, who is the gullible one?

otipoju:Who's reading all this gibberish, Mr. tribal agitator? You can crawl back from the fringe as your type always do, but remember that the divide which exists today was in the past fomented by the tribalists that came before you — and you and your troll lot have continued the hate-filled tradition. Keep backpedaling; shame is not new to you, after all. |

igbo was never a threat in southwest politics and votes but some naive Yorubas were falling for igbo political propaganda against good Yoruba candidates over their bad leaders Yorubas only prove to them that two can play the game, one honourable in Abia state was accused of being a Yoruba and he have to do press to denied it but When Yoruba do same is a big deal make thunder fire you and whatever you think you know, 2023 election is gone for good, Yorubas have spoken with one voice, igbo should focus on their barren land and let Yorubas focus on their land how is that a big deal? fooooool |

Igbos wanted to determine the governor of Lagos. We told them they don't have that right. But they said they were as they are Nigerians and as they have invested in Lagos, they will. I have no problem with that but this right is what you will not give other tribes if they were to be in multitude in your land. We simply said that in our governorship elections, we will not allow you to determine our governor. We will frustrate you from voting out a performing governor in Lagos and installing a mediocre. Eventually, the plan worked. And it hurts you so bad, you had to create this whole epistle and wail. My happiness is that everyone has gotten the clear message: LAGOS IS YORUBALAND. |
