The poster don't know anything. Fashola stated providing power to all government agencies including Alausa Secretariat years. Who is Obaseki? Instead of celebrating success, bad belle wont allow you guys. |

OVB123:First IPP in Nigeria was Tinubu (Enron) then Saraki. Fashola also directly supplied Lagos State Ministries. |

Cananland in ogun state has developed its own electricity as far back as almost 10years ago. Edo state governor has done thst perfect years ago. What has killed lagos is media hype lies, while systematically embezelling the treasury . If the MIT boy GRV handles Lagos, in 4 yrs the eyes of lagosians will open. |

REDshouse:The difference between finding out things for yourself and 'Copy & Paste' is when you find things out yourself, you get the full story. Even your paymasters don't mention ENRON anymore. They just forgot to update the middlemen between you and them

Funny enough, I can't see Obi among the names being mentioned viz Mbakwe (Imo), Bola Ahmed Tinubu & Fashola (Lagos), Obaseki (Edo) and Saraki (Kwara). Day don dey break. Some people because of chest beating just want us to lose out on good performers in the name of religion and ethnicity but God no gree them. Nigeria shall be great again. |

omonnakoda:I agree with you, there was the Amaraku Power station in the days of Chief Sam Mbakwe. It was done away with, after the military took over, but it's generating capacity is what I don't know. But I attest that there was indeed one in the old Imo State. Remember, Abia was created from the Old Imo. Tinubu started one in his first term, but due politics and the rest, it got rested. |

HydraFeeds:This argument is unnecessary. What is important now, is that every state, has been given the opportunity to generate and power their areas of influence. Lagos State, has kick- started theirs, therefore let others follow suit. This is what we want now. It is competition galore now. |

Lol. I will never understand Nigerians. @OP. Trying to rain on Lagos parade cannot profit you. You can even see that Buhari, the ultimate conservative in my opinion, has eventually keyed into restructuring and more autonomy for Nigerian States and region. Spend less time trying to discredit others and devote more time to securing progress for your people. That is what the future of our nation will be about in rejection of 'one Nigeria 'that is about indulging those who are lazy and parasitic elements not contributing much to the growth potentials of Nigeria 'One Nigeria' worship is dwindling fast. Everyone of us now really need to commit to our corner and face real hardwork and productivity to make that corner great. You won't get anywhere envying, discrediting or beefing others once most Nigerians have rejected the thoroughly discredited 'one Nigeria' in favour of a meritorious system that allow serious folks to develop at their own pace and according to their capability. You won't be able to run to other folks corner, because your leaders are fcking up, as was the case before. Face your own corner bro. If Obaseki is a genius then let that reflect in Edo State becoming a great State that will meet the needs of Edo people so they can remain in the State to gain all they want and need from life. If ultra-rigid Buhari can begin keying into restructuring, before the ultra-reformational Tinubu arrives, then you should realise this is the time for you and your people to work and not a time to be looking over the fence of the neighbours to pettily nitpick about what they are doing wrong. Issues, for progressive folks, should not be about who did what first. It must be about working to deliver what makes our people grow and develop socio-economically. There is going to be less tolerance in the future for folks running away from misrule to go and live where things work , and thus burden indigenes there, all in the name of a moribund 'one Nigeria' ideology. A word is enough for the wise. |
