In a video posted yesterday, Reno Omokri expressed his surprise at the overwhelming applause that Peter Obi received at Governor Soludo's one-year anniversary.

This comes after Reno had previously accused Peter Obi of rigging elections in Anambra in response to Obi's claim that APC rigged the last presidential election which brought victory to Tinibu.

Reno now admits that he made this accusation without considering that it was possible for Obi to receive such a high number of votes. He states that witnessing the loud ovation Obi received at the event convinced him that it was actually possible for Obi to have received up to 97% of the votes in Anambra.

Reno also acknowledged that the love and support Obi received at the event was organic, and that Obi is even more popular than Governor Soludo in Anambra. Finally, Reno apologized for his previous accusation and retracted his earlier statement
