Tottenham has a penchant for recruiting strong, burly, forceful players of which they have in excess at the expense of creative, technical and thoughtful talents leading to serious midfield problems that has haunted the club for years and the unending search for a coach that plays 'attractive' football.

Their recruitment is the problem.

They should take a leaf from their cross city bitter rivals, Arsenal who have taken the other extreme position albeit with a better balance and has all these little midgets running rings round opposing defences.

There is a saying here that if you are not close to a 6 footer Spurs are unlikely to sign.
